There was a lot of action at the 2023 MSHSL State Tournament, held at St. Michael-Albertville High School the weekend of June 10.

Rosemount's Hayden Bills threw a MSHSL record 207 feet in the discus. He also took first place in the shot put.

Juriad Hughes Jr., competing from Irondale High School, set the state record in long jump with a 24'11" long jump, taking the top spot from Von Shepard, who set the record in 1982 competing from St. Paul Central high School.
